The Solution is in Jesus Christ

Good morning Beloved, and happy Sunday. Today, I am happy to share with us three ingredients we require to sail through and overcome this plague. I pray that the Holy Spirit of God will grant you understanding as you read it. Again, I believe that God Almighty whom we serve will protect us all and we shall all celebrate very soon the fellowship of the brethren in Jesus Christ name, Amen.

Focal Bible passage: 1 Corinthians 13:13 ‘And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.’

Faith: Faith is defined as complete trust or confidence in something or someone. Hebrews 11:1 describes faith thus, ‘Now FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen’. Beloved, in this crucial time we must build our faith not fear. The media is awash with messages of doom hidden under the guise of providing information but as children of God, we must rise above all these because we have the mind of Christ. We have the choice to either believe completely the promises of God concerning us in Psalms 91:10 which states that ‘no evil shall befall us, neither shall any plague come near our dwellings’. For our brethren who may have been exposed to this plague remember that He promised us in Isaiah 53:3, ‘But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.’

Brethren, build your wall of protection with Faith. Search the word of God on God’s promises to us concerning sickness, afflictions and pain. Substitute the fear with faith and meditate on these promises. With this foundation, no plague will dare come near you. If it came in prior to this revelation, the balm of Gilead, Jehovah Rapha, our great Healer will heal you in Jesus Christ name, Amen

Hope: Hope is defined as a feeling of expectation and a desire for a particular thing to happen. Romans 5:5 tells us that, ‘Now HOPE does not disappoint, for the love of God is poured in our hearts through the Holy Spirit that is give to us’. How can we not be disappointed? We cannot be disappointed because Psalm 130:5 tells us that ‘I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word do I hope.’ When we build our foundation on Faith using the word of God and we believe it, then our hope becomes active because we know/believe that He will hear us. This is a period of repentance and plea for mercy. Our hope in God helps us with this as stated in Psalm 33:22, ‘Let Your mercy be upon us O Lord, just as we hope in You.’ The Lord will have mercy upon us and all the nations of the world and cause this plague to cease in Jesus Christ name, Amen

Love: Love is defined as a complex set of emotions, behaviors, and beliefs associated with strong feelings of affection, protectiveness, warmth, and respect for another person.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13 describes clearly what Love is. It is described as, The Greatest Gift

13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Beloved, we are aware of what happened to families in China when the plague cleared. We must not allow the enemy succeed in his quest to destroy families. Now family does not refer to your immediate family. It refers to you and your neighbour. It is a time to practice love. A simple way to do that is to change the word Love is with your name- e.g Chinwe is kind,……, and see if you truly practice this love of God. This is a season for reconciliation. Reach out to that family member that you have been at loggerhead with. Reconcile with everyone. Show your family love. Help the needy and live the life God has ordained for us to live.

In summary, we must build the foundation for our house on Faith, Finish it in Hope and dwell in it with the Love of God. With these three ingredients, we will overcome this and any other plague or challenges the enemy will throw at us.

I pray that God’s abiding grace, mercy and peace will be upon you and I and all our loved ones. We will not loose any of our own. The nations of the world will heal and come out stronger and the name of the Lord will forever be glorified in Jesus Christ name, Amen

Very Important

Beloved, the message above is premised on the assumption that you have a relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. If you do not have one, what better time to do so. As a Christian we must not fear death because Apostle Paul said in Philippians 1:21, ‘for me to live is Christ, and to die is gain’, He said it because while alive, believers have the opportunity to further the work of God on earth but in death, we enjoy the eternal life in Heaven promised to us. However, if you do not have a relationship with God or did but have backslidden for one reason or another, I appeal to you today to reconcile or give your life back to Him. Your soul matter to God. Do bow your head in total repentance and say this prayer:

‘Lord Jesus Christ, I come to you in total repentance pleading that You forgive me all my sins. I confess that You are the Christ that died to save me on the cross of Calvary. Come into my life as Lord and Saviour and establish an everlasting relationship with me through the power of The Holy Spirit. I surrender my life and all to You. Thank You for accepting me in Your precious name I pray, amen’

Congratulations for saying that prayer. Your name has been transferred to the book of life. Do endeavour to study the word daily and if you need guidance on how to continue, ask the Holy Spirit for direction. Also send us an email on JesusShopperTeam@gmail.com

Remember, Jesus Christ loves you. Stay protected under His wings. Shalom!!
