As I pondered on the numerous messages, videos shared on various social media platforms about the current situation in the world, the global lockdown caused by the covid 19 virus, my Spirit was stirred to share this message with believers to help us guard our hearts. A lot of believers have become willing instruments in the hands of satan to share fear in the guise that they are sharing necessary information. I have had the pleasure to engage a few on this issue but have seen the depth of fear in their responses covered by the usual, ‘it is not our portion’. Beloved, let us be mindful in this season to ensure that we do not derail through the daily distractions in the social media. Always ask a simple question before you forward, believe or project any opinion on the covid 19- Is this ‘The Truth’?
What is ‘The Truth’
Wikipedia defined truth as being in accord with fact or reality, or fidelity to an original or standard. I can argue that Truth is what you believe. Please note that I have defined – Truth, not ‘The Truth’. Whatever you believe in and hold strongly to becomes ‘your truth’. Whatever someone else believes in becomes ‘their truth’ but the fact remains that ‘your truth’ and ‘their truth’ most likely may not be ‘The Truth’. So what is ‘The Truth’? John 14:6 clearly defined ‘The Truth’ thus, ‘Jesus said to him, I Am The Way, The Truth an The Life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me.’ This, beloved is The Truth. Jesus Christ is The Truth.
How can we apply ‘The Truth’?
We have a Truth manual that we must benchmark every information against and once it does not agree with it, we must discard that information because it is not ‘The Truth’. This is the Holy Bible. I know many of you will want to ask me where we have a virus in the bible and the truth regarding it. Be rest assured of a deeper revelation that Jesus Christ left with us in John 16:13, ‘ However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.’ Did this play out in the case of covid 19? Yes. The prophetic declaration raised by the man of God at the crossover service I attended on December 31 had this disease clearly described. Prayers were raised accordingly. I can categorically tell you that the Holy Spirit is available to every believer to guide us into all truth and to reveal ahead of time, things to come.
We can decide from today to weigh every information we receive and determine if it is ‘The Truth’. It does not matter who said it. The Bible encouraged us all to have one benchmark in Hebrews 12:2a, ‘looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith’. Jesus Christ is the only one infallible- Romans 3:4
In summary, it is disheartening to note that most information about the virus and 5G widely circulated and evidence sent (like the pulling down of mast in China) are not only old but untrue. However, Christians have held so tightly to what their spiritual fathers and mothers said without asking the simple question, is this ‘The Truth’?
We must rise above the deceit of the enemy and tackle this issue spiritually by bringing collective repentance so that God will have mercy and deliver us from this plague. Only God can stop this plague- This is The Truth. Science and humanity have failed.
Your truth, their truth is not ‘The Truth’. The truth concerning this plague for every believer is written in Psalm 91:10, ‘no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling’. Believe it, share it and encourage others in it. I pray that God’s mercy, protection, wisdom, direction and grace will be upon us always, amen. Have a Truthful week.
